AUS wins 3–0 series, PAK's record broken, it becomes MOM, broken many big records

In the last T20 match of the three-match series, Australia's team won and cleaned up Sri Lanka 3-0 in the series. Australia won the toss and invited Sri Lanka to play first. Sri Lanka emerged from the opening tremors to score a score of 142 runs. Kushal Perera played a tremendous half-century for Sri Lanka.

The start of Australia's team was very solid, behind the target. Finch played a quick knock of 37 runs from 25 balls, scoring fast runs. Smith hit 12 boundaries with two boundaries off 9 balls. David batted from one end and completed the half-century. Turner also scored runs fast.


Australia's team achieved the target of 143 runs by losing wickets in the over. David Warner was voted Man of the Match. If Sri Lanka had won this match, it would have left Pakistan behind in terms of defeating any of its rivals the most T20 matches. Sri Lanka beat Australia and Pakistan in 9–9 T20 matches.
