The only batsman in the world who was out for 299, knowing the name will be sad

The most time for a player in cricket is when he is close to the century key and loses the wicket. Going back to the water after full hard work will be called this. But if a player is close to completing a triple century, not a century or a double century and is out, then it will be called a batsman's misfortune.
It has happened in cricket history with not one but 5 batsmen. He was dismissed when the batsman was about to complete his triple century. Today, I will tell you about these 5 batsmen.

5. Ross Taylor

In the second Test match played against Australia in Perth in 2015, New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor missed a triple century.
In this match, Australia batted first and scored 559 at the loss of 9 wickets.
In response, New Zealand scored 624 runs in the first innings to chase the target.
In this innings, Ross Taylor was bowled out for 290 runs and missed his triple century by 10 runs.

4. Vivian Richders

The great West Indian batsman Viv Richards missed out on a triple century against England in 1976.
In the Test match played at the Oval, West Indies scored 687 runs at the loss of eight wickets thanks to the superb batting of Viv Richards.
In that innings, Viv Richards was bowled out for 291 runs and missed his triple century by nine runs.

3. Ramnaresh Sarwan

West Indies batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan missed a triple century against England in 2009.
England scored 600 at the loss of six wickets, batting first in the fourth Test of the five-match Test series between England and the West Indies.
In response, the West Indies scored 749 runs at the loss of nine wickets, with Ramnaresh Sarwan scoring the most runs.
He scored 291 runs with the help of 30 fours and two sixes.
Ryan Sidebottom ended his innings as he headed for a triple century.

2. Sehwag

Former India team blast batsman Virender Sehwag has two triple centuries in Test cricket.
However, on 4 December 2009, Sehwag missed his third triple century against Sri Lanka by just 7 runs.
If that were the case, he would have become the batsman to score the most triple century in Test cricket.
In this match, Sehwag scored 293 runs with the help of 40 fours and seven sixes against Sri Lanka.
Sehwag was dismissed from the crease by Sri Lankan magician off-spinner Muralitharan in his fourth over of the day.

1. Martin Crowe

Martin Crowe's batting technique was excellent and he was able to put shots around the field.
Crowe's Test career totaled 17 centuries, with his 299-run innings being the best innings he played in the second innings (February 1991) against Sri Lanka in the Willington Test.

The match ended on a draw. He missed his first triple century by one run. Had he achieved this position, he would have become the first batsman of his team to do so.
However, Australia's Don Bradman also missed his triple century by scoring one run in his illustrious career.
But he returned unbeaten on 29 January 1932 in the match played against South Africa in Adelaide.
This was the only occasion in cricket history when a batsman returned unbeaten on 299 runs.
