The only batsman in the world to score a triple century in T20

Till now the teams had scored 300 runs in IPL but Delhi's Mohit Ahlawat had scored a triple century in domestic cricket in 2017. Mohit did this amazing feat in just 72 balls.

Then 21-year-old Mohit Ahlawat played this innings for Mavi XI in Friends Premier League against Friends XI at Lalitha Park, Delhi.

The match scorecard showed that Mohit hit his innings with 39 sixes and 14 fours, which meant that he scored just 10 of his 300 runs.

Thanks to his innings, Mavi XI hung 416 runs in 20 overs on the scoreboard, which is a world record. In response, Friends XI could only score a respectable 200 runs. Thus Mavi XI won the match by 216 runs.

Due to his performance, he was also included in the team from Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevil) in the IPL.
