In the second ODI against Sri Lanka being played in Karachi, Pakistan veteran Babar Azam showed the brilliance of scoring the 11th century of his ODI career. Babar Azam was dismissed for 115 off 105 balls. In his innings, Babar Azam did an amazing job of scoring 8 fours and 4 sixes. During his century innings, Babar Azam took two big records to his name.

Babar Azam became the third batsman to score the fastest 11 centuries in ODI cricket. In this case, Babar Azam broke Kohli's record.

Babar Azam did a great job of completing 11 centuries in 71 ODI innings, while Kohli had completed 11 centuries in his 82nd ODI innings in his career. Just ahead of Babar Azam is Quinton Deacock and Hashim Amla. Quinton Deacock scored 65th innings while Amla completed 11 centuries in 64th innings.


Along with this, for the first time in the last 6 years, a Pakistani batsman completed 1000 runs in one ODI calendar year.

Babar Azam has scored 1061 runs in ODIs this year. Earlier in 2013, Mimbar-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez scored over 1300 runs.

Babar Azam has completed 21 centuries in List One cricket. Babar Azam is jointly the fourth batsman from Pakistan to score 21 centuries in List A cricket.
