The three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka will begin on January 5. The first match of the series will be played in Guwahati, while the second match will be held in Indore on January 7 and the third match in Pune on January 10.


Actually, the first Indian team was to play this series with Zimbabwe. But after the ICC banned Zimbabwe, the BCCI invited the Sri Lankan Board for the tour. After the response from the Sri Lankan Cricket Board, the BCCI has announced this tour.
